Understanding Electromagnetic Waves

We exist in an often invisible ocean of electromagnetic waves (EMF) that grows deeper every day with the advancement of technology.  Electromagnetic waves exist within an enormous range of frequencies. This continuous range of frequencies is known as the electromagnetic spectrum. The subdividing of the entire spectrum into smaller spectra is done mostly on the basis of how each region of electromagnetic waves interacts with matter.  Each specific spectra does various things and some can be very negative to health while others can be neutral or even enormously positive. The diagram below depicts the electromagnetic spectrum and its various regions.

A few of the very narrow regions within the spectrum are undoubtedly very familiar to you; i.e. visible light, radio waves, microwaves and X-Rays. While you may be less knowledgeable about other areas like the Far Infrared spectrum (FIR), this type of EMF wave is nonetheless a critical part of your living a healthy life.

What is FIR?  Far infrared (FIR) (λ = 3–100 μm) is a small subdivision of the electromagnetic spectrum that has been extensively investigated for years for its powerful positive biological effects.  The most promising cell stimulatory research actually occurs in what is known as the far, far infrared subdivision (λ = 3– 12 μm) of this waveband.

Effects of FIR on Water Containing Matter

FIR causes large molecules to vibrate at the subatomic level.  For example, The FIR vibration reduces the ion bonds of the hydrogen atoms that hold together molecules of water. As the vibration continues, a subtle breakdown of the water molecules occurs and encapsulated gases and other toxic materials are released.  The molecules are then immediately renewed with properties that promote healing and reduce oxidative stress among many other proven, positive benefits and this water then interacts with all the human cells as well as the microorganisms that make up a human being. This is not mysticism but rather a branch of science known as Super Position Biochemistry.  As the positive results of FIR emissivity accumulate from the work of scientists worldwide, better more thorough understanding will result.

For now, science believes that FIR is so positive and health producing due, in large part, to its stimulating effect on every individual cell, each which comes into contact with water in the body.  Here is the working opinion today.  FIR has an incredible stimulating effect on enzymes which then turn on the body’s miraculous powers of regeneration and biochemical achievement.  Under normal circumstances for an enzyme to function, there must be enough activation energy to turn it on.  Activation energy, then, is the main rate limiting factor for enzyme function. To understand this, think of activation energy being on one side of a high wall and the enzyme being on the other side.  For the enzyme to turn on and do its work, there must be enough energy to climb the wall.  Simple, right? And we all know that there is far less activation energy when the body is suffering from fatigue, stress or is challenged by illness, injury or even simple aging.  That is why sometimes it is so hard for the body to rebound and get better.

FIR changes everything.  Scientists believe that FIR is able to squeeze the barrier between activation energy and the enzyme turning on to be so thin that the energy is able to pass through it rather than have to climb over it.  It is a process that the brilliant minds involved in this subatomic research call Quantum Tunneling.   Given this, obviously, far less energy is needed to cause positive change and that is why so many incredible improvements are noted in everything from individual cells to entire organs of the body when in the presence of FIR.

The beauty of this is that all you need for the positive effects to occur is water, which is the predominant part of every living body including infants and pets, and being close to an emissive device such as the jewelry sold by SolRay Biophysics.

Therapeutic Effects

Based on the vast amount of science that has been conducted on FIR, here is a small sampling of the current scientific consensus of how FIR benefits us.

  1. FIR expands capillaries which stimulates increased blood flow, regeneration, circulation and oxygenation.

  2. FIR helps to alleviate breathing problems and congestion.

  3. FIR promotes elimination of fats, chemicals and toxins from the blood and aids lymphatic cleansing.

  4. FIR emits photons which stimulates enzyme activity creating increased macrophage activity causing the elimination of damaged and diseased tissues.

  5. FIR aids the creation of Nitric Oxide which plays a critical role in almost every pathological condition from diabetes to hypertension, cancer to drug addiction, stroke to intestinal motility, memory and learning disorders to septic shock, sunburn to anorexia, male impotence to tuberculosis.

  6. FIR has been shown to induce the killing and/or lowering of the endotoxin load of varied pathogenic (disease causing) bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites.

  7. FIR promotes rebuilding of injured tissue by having a positive effect on the fibroblasts (connective tissue cells necessary for the repair of injury). Furthermore, it increases growth of cells, DNA syntheses, and protein synthesis all necessary during tissue repair and regeneration.

  8. FIR is excellent for healing burns, scar tissue and skin problems such as acne and skin breakouts.

  9. FIR has important cosmetic anti-aging effects such as the lessening of wrinkles due to enhanced collagen production.

  10. FIR relieves nervous tension and relaxes autoneuro muscles promoting the relief of muscular aches and reducing back, shoulder and neck pains.

  11. FIR reduces soreness on nerve endings and muscle spasms inducing a rapid reduction of swelling, inflammation and associated pain

  12. FIR strengthens and supports the Immune System by stimulating increased production of white blood cells (leukocytes) by the bone marrow and killer T-cells by the thymus.

  13. FIR strengthens the Cardiovascular System by causing heart rate and cardiac output increases and a diastolic blood pressure decrease.  Extensive research by NASA in the early 1980's led to the conclusion that far infrared stimulation of cardiovascular function would be the ideal way to maintain cardiovascular conditioning in American astronauts during long space flight.

  14. FIR aids in the destruction of deleterious cells in chronic disease conditions including malignant cancer cells.
